Every once in a while I happen to drive by the house where I grew up. I marvel at all the things that have changed (the tree in the front yard is massive now) and all the things that have stayed the same (that beige siding will outlive all of us). As I drive down memory lane, there are visual clues that trigger more snapshots of remembrance. It is this exact concept, that place and memory are closely connected, that is the basis for the picture book “The Map of Good Memories” by Fran Nuno. It’s also the inspiration for Episode 6 of #MsMcLauchlanWrites:
