Every Sunday night, without fail, my cat spends a good 30 minutes staring focusedly into the one inch space under our television. Occasionally she has batted a toy into that area,  and I dutifully grab a long pair of salad tongs and fish it out for her. But most of the time there’s nothing to be found under there but cords and dust bunnies.  Yet, she stares. Intently. This is just one of many instances, where I wonder what exactly is going on in my cat’s brain.  The book “The Art of Racing in the Rain” let’s us experience the inner workings of a dog’s mind, and in Episode 5 of #MscMcLauchlanWrites- we use this as inspiration for our writing:
