#MsMclauchlanReads- “The Farm” by Joanne Ramos

A sunny week in the hammock means I’ve finished up three audiobooks already! For those of y’all that participate in book clubs, I highly recommend you put this one on your radar. Set in present day, “The Farm” focuses on the lives of a group of women that have agreed to be paid pregnancy surrogates for wealthy mystery clients. However, part of the exchange means spending nine months living in a highly monitored luxury spa called the “farm”. This novel raises some interesting questions around race, gender and reproductive rights.
