I’m participating in the #MRAphotoaday – so here’s my photo for today’s prompt, read aloud. I love to use wordless picture books as read alouds and “A Stone for Sascha” is one of my faves. It focuses on the loss of a beloved pet, and travels through thousands of years as a heartbroken little girl looks for the perfect rock to leave as a gift for her lost furry friend. As a life long rock hunter this story pulled at my heart and inspired me to create a set of story stones to read alongside the book.
